That was the one thing about Frontier that I did not like. Well that and the lame plot twist near the end.

What, Fractal Codes? All series have Digimon have some form of core data, Frontier's just the only time it had a specific name.

Basically it's the digimon's DNA. It's was keeps them in they evolved forms. Also I can only think of two Tamers and Frontier that used something like the Fractal Codes. Saviors and both Adventures had nothing similar I think.

Right. And the areas of the Digital World also had Fractal Codes.
A Fractal Code was basically the data that made up everything in the whole Digital World, alive or not.

As for the other seasons, I always saw DNA as the Data Squad equivalent. You're right about Adventures though.
